Online Talk "Around the World of Dance" with Tamalyn

Let's talk! After 48 years of Oriental dance, I have lots to share, and you may have some questions for me. Here are some of the topics I will be talking about and answering your questions as well.

1. My trajectory as a dancer, from student to doing bellygrams and dancing at parties and restaurants, to dancing my way around South America (1980's), then opening a non profit studio in Miami Beach, and running it for 16 years. Then touring internationally, thanks to the boom that was created simultaneously by Shakira, the Brazilian TV show, "Clone" bellydance Superstars and festivals. Writing books, making documentaries and recording music in Zanzibar, teaching residencies in China for 12 years and post pandemic teaching online. I will also tell you about my new screenplay, which is finally finished.
2. Some of the unusual dance concepts I teach and why I think they are important: "Earth and Sky" and "6 points of focus." Plus how they developed through my experience traveling.
3. Changes that have taken place in the dance world in the past 48 years.
I am projecting for this to last 90 minutes, but it could last until 3pm (2 hours) $15
